By our last day in Amsterdam, we had completely fallen in love with the city. We mournfully packed as we debated about how we could squeeze out one more drop from our stay and decided that brunch at a cool-looking cafe around the corner from our apartment would be a good idea. So off to Piet de Grutyer we went.
I loved the decor, such beautiful lighting. I loved the people there too. Everyone looked so absorbed in one another and so in love.
Our food came and it was glorious. A great way to spend the rest of our Euros.
We easily forgot we had a plane to catch, sucked in by the beautiful atmosphere, great food and perfect service - Kyomi ordered a dish with avocado, but they had ran out, so the manager ran out and bought some more - so we paid in a rush and sensibly ordered a cab to Schipol.
Jennifer was terribly sad about leaving :(
It was such a lovely trip, and I did fall in love with Amsterdam, despite the sub-zero temperatures and manic cylists. Defo visit again.
